Production Planner

A clear plan on the kitchen floor every morning.

Turn approved plans and customer orders into batches, work orders and shifts. Supervisors record actual output and wastage on a tablet, and the stock is ready to send before the van arrives.

In the workshop

Every station knows its job before it starts.

The sweet section, bakery oven, frying station and packing table each get their own list, in order, with quantities taken from the plan and recipes.

At the counter

Outlets get what they will actually sell.

Production is planned from outlet demand and booked orders, so the counter is not left with a sold-out shelf by evening or a tray of leftovers at closing.

Production Planner

From plan to finished stock.

Batches with codes

Every batch gets a code, date and expiry that follow it through transfers and onto the bill.

Work orders

Raise work orders per station or karigar, with the raw materials issued from the store room.

Shifts and staff

Plan the 5 am, day and night shifts, and see output per shift and per person.

Actual vs planned

Record what really came out of the oven, so yield and wastage figures are real.

Packing and labels

Pack finished goods into boxes and crates, and print batch, MRP and expiry labels.

Capacity check

See when a plan asks more of an oven, a line or a shift than it can give.

01 - Make to stock

Daily plans for what sells every day.

Daily items such as rusk, bread, namkeen and regular sweets are planned from each outlet's sales and the AI planner's suggestion, then fine-tuned by the production head.

  • Plan by outlet demand, not by guess
  • Raw material issue slip for each batch
  • Output booked straight into kitchen stock
  • Wastage reasons recorded per batch
02 - Make to order

Orders from the counter flow straight to the floor.

Cakes, wedding boxes, furniture pieces and custom garments booked at a showroom become work orders with a due date, so the workshop and the customer are on the same date.

  • Due dates and customer notes on each work order
  • Job work sent to outside karigars
  • Status visible to the outlet that booked it
  • Delivery note made when the order is ready
Questions

About Production Planner

Can we plan without using the AI planner?

Yes. You can build plans by hand from outlet indents and orders. The AI planner is an optional starting point that you can edit or ignore.

Does it work for multi-step production?

Yes. Semi-finished items such as dough, sugar syrup, khoya or cut fabric can be produced and stocked as their own step, then used in the next one.

Can outside karigars or job workers be tracked?

Yes. Material sent out for job work is tracked against the job worker until the finished goods come back.
